Frequently Asked Questions

Where does a session take place?

A session can take place in my Downtown Tacoma studio or anywhere you feel comfortable. Whether it be your home, hotel, or even somewhere secluded outdoors (for boudoir), I want you to be in a place where you won't have any problems just being you.

I am based out of Tacoma, WA and standard session pricing includes travel within 30 miles.  I am available for travel throughout the state of WA at an additional charge, please contact me for details.

What is a boudoir session?

Simply put, boudoir is a session showing off your sexy, playful, fun, and flirty side while still being tasteful. Boudoir is NOT purely nude photography. You can wear nothing, a plain white tee, or even a full on jumpsuit, and it could still be considered boudoir. It's not about WHAT you wear, it's about HOW you wear it!

Can I bring someone to my session?

Absolutely! While I don't recommend bringing your significant other, I think having a girlfriend or family member on hand helps with the photo jitters and adds some comic relief.

What if I'm nervous?

That's perfectly natural! One thing I like to do is play some music during your session and turn up the volume! Don't be scared if I start dancing along while I'm shooting behind the lens! Music has its own way of calming nerves and helps create some amazing photos. So, feel free to bring your own playlist or we'll hook up Pandora and shoot away!

What if I'm not photogenic and don't know how to model?

Leave that to me and my trusted makeup artists and hair stylists. We're here to bring out that gorgeous vixen in you. I truly believe that all shapes and sizes are beautiful. It's my job to find the right angles and make you look and feel your absolute best. I'll be there every step of the way when it comes to posing you from your fingertips down to your tippy toes! I will bring out the best version of you through light editing such as removing blemishes and smoothing out your skin. You will be picture perfect!

Will my images be used on your website or blog?

In no way will I ever post any of your photos without your written consent. I respect each and every one of my clients and will always respect your right to keeping your photos private.

I've booked my shoot, now what?

Once you've booked, you'll receive an e-mail including a questionnaire to help gather more info about you so we can tailor the shoot to your needs. The e-mail will also include tips and tricks for how to prepare for the day of your shoot.
